Visitor Guidelines

Inside our hall:
Visitors are asked to follow etiquette.
In the square outside our hall:
  • Please do not litter.
  • Please do not give any food you brought in to the koi in the hall’s pond. The daily amount of feed given to these koi is carefully managed according to the pond’s water temperature in order to keep them healthy and prevent illness. As they are fed with nishikigoi food, visitors are especially asked not to give them the food sold for the purpose of feeding koi in the nearby Setogawa Canal.
  • Please refrain from smoking, eating, or drinking on the premise of Otabisho (a place in the town where the deity can stay in Festival Square). If you wish to smoke elsewhere, please do so where an ashtray is provided.
